The site ran out of disk space. I have freed up enough disk space so that discussion can resume, but threads have been damaged. Damaged threads can likely not be recovered.
We have far more disk space than we need and should never have run out. I am investigating now.

Disk Space Problem Fixed
We again have gigabytes and gigabytes of disk space. The problem was caused by gargantuan maillog files which have been deleted.

missng thread
Not sure if you can fix it, but it seems that buz's thread which AdminNosy promoted has gone AWOL. Roughly 31 or so posts were made to the topic, but it is certainly gone.
In other news, my topic index (http://EvC Forum: kuresu Topic Index -->EvC Forum: kuresu Topic Index) is disturbingly empty given that I've made over 2k posts.
I'm assuming this has to deal with the current disk space issue, and hopefully not my own computer.
Ah, to be a site administrator!
Thanks for keeping this place running percy.

Ahhh! This must have something to with why I have about 20 less posts than I've actually made. I was wondering what was going on!

"Faith based social work vs secular scientific expertise" is another lost topic
http://EvC Forum: What would we think if Percy..... -->EvC Forum: What would we think if Percy..... is another lost topic, in the "Is It Science?" forum.
It was the promoted version of the Faith based social work vs secular scientific expertise PNT.

Restarting Lost Threads
First let me apologize for the threads that were lost when the site ran out of disk space. We haven't lost any threads in a very long time, and I'm taking mesaures to insure that this doesn't happen again.
Unfortunately the lost data cannot be restored. I make periodic backups of the entire site, but the last one was a couple weeks ago.
If anyone would like to resume the discussion of a lost thread, please submit a thread proposal and I will promote it as quickly as possible. Give it a title as best as you remember, note that it is for a lost thread, then briefly summarize the discussion.
