You could ask why fossil animal tracks, burrows, nests, even hibernating lungfish, are found all through the geologic column.

Patrick Spears, a sometime poster on this board, has put together a great website that rebuts specific creationist claims for the Flud. You can find it here. Another page of good anti-Flud links is from Glen Morton's flood page. And of course, we have the ever-popular talkorigins on the Flud, as well as Karen Bartlet's essay on specific ICR claims here. Those links should provide you with plenty of ammunition.

Did you mean John Stear, not Patrick Spears?

Nossir, Patrick Spears. He posted here briefly under the username ps418. If you remember, he took on wmscott in one of those interminable Flud topics. I didn't know John Stear (of NoAiG and the Evolution Education Site Ring) was registered here. Has he ever posted?

Oh, I think I see where I went wrong. The URL you gave for Patrick Spears is:
If you back up one level and look at this URL:
The page has no other text title than "The Evolution Education Site Ring", and declares that it is owned by John Stear. But this must just be some boilerplate that Patrick dropped onto his own page. He should put a textual title on it. Right now his title, "A Critical Look at Creation Science", appears only on the top window bar, but most people, or at least me, don't usually pay attention to that.

I'll let Patrick know people may be missing his website because of the position of the "Site Ring" notice at the top of the page (which is also at the bottom - I guess he must really like the Ring). Anyway, if you scroll down about 5" or so on the /pgspears page, you'll see the beginning of Patrick's super "Creation Science and Earth History" website with lots of articles, links, a "news ticker" sort of collection, etc. It's a good site, overall.

It's an excellent site, and Patrick should take full credit for it by putting his name on it, right beneath the title he's going to add.

Okay, for a more updated version of the website (but still with the Ring notice at the top), try http://www.geocities.com/earthhistory
This version has more recent articles on it.
