Syamsu has proposed the Hitler the creationist, says talk origins topic.
Making a judgement from past Syamsu topics of simular nature, that were open to all parties debate, I'm reluctanct to promote the above cited topic.
Perhaps a ono-on-one "Great Debate" would be a better way to go.

I'm ignorant in this field. Could someone explain to me what the significance of this topic is?

The significance is that Syamsu is on a continuing quest to link acceptance of evolution with Nazism.
Check out this thread to witness Syamsu promoting his favorite topic.
I'd take the great debate myself, but when it comes to Syamsu, I'm mainly in it for the snarky comments. I'll bet Mammuthus or Hambre would be willing to knock his ass around a while, though.

Debate Syamsu? Could I just get inoculated with live yellow fever and cholera bugs instead?

Syamsu is a waste of time. Even when you present him with specific quotes along with exactly where they came from he simply sticks his fingers in his ears and calls you names. I will certainly suggest to the Admin I'm closest too that the PNT just wither.

You're joking, right? The man can barrel through a 300-post thread arguing against a book he hasn't even read. There's nothing to debate...

With trepidation...
I will try.
Since I don't believe in god, may something be with me.

Off topic, but.....
.....I just have to thank you Quetzal for giving me the best laugh I've had in ages. I had tears streaming down my face and I ended up rolling on the floor. It's one of the best descriptions of Syamsu's "technique" I've ever seen!

*loads a clip into a gun, hands the gun to Mike*
The second he uses the word "ideology", use this. On him, on yourself, it doesn't matter. Just end it, one way or another.
But hey, as long as Mike's taking him on, can we have a snarky comment side thread? Huh, huh, can we?

Could it be stopped.

Channeling Emily Litella
I too was very surprised he could get so much mileage out of a rant against Selfish Genies. "If they say three wishes, you should damn well get three wishes, regardless of the lawyertricks Dawkins uses to obscure the truth."
