AdminNosy,
As you know, I was just recently suspended for a day for ...
Not discussing in a semi-adult manner...
Not actually answering the posts in the discussion...
And behaving with immaturity....
Now admitted, I was ruthless with doku from a logical standpoint, and I used a lot of sarcastic humor to expose the fallacies, but...
I did answer doko's post in detail. I did exposed three (and really four) fallacies he used in his arguments. I used no ad hominen approach. I did this with humor, and I understand that humor may not be appreciated. Is that the problem? If so, I will adjust my approach.
In regards to discussing in an adult manner, and with maturity....
cavediver writes:
As for AOKid - anyone who continues to suggest that somehow the LoB has anything to do with abiogenesis, does not have sufficent mental capacity to engage in rational discussion. He should be ignored until he's reached his twenties and gained some maturity in his thinking. [
Is this the level of maturity you would like me to argue with?
I am not being facetious, I just really want to know what you mean about maturity. If the sarcasm is unwelcome, I can adjust, but fallacies are fallacies and I think that they should be exposed.

A partial examination only
Organism death. Cellular death is organism death doku. Trust me, scientific evidence "suggests" you will die.
Message 119
You were careless here (and I was not careful in reading it either). You jump back and forth between a multicellular organism and single cellular. It was not a strawman since you did make statements like that.
So you must believe in immortality? Infinitely long telomeres. That's an interesting mythological concept.
Here is an example where you just make a smart remark without actually getting the point at all. You need to read a lot more carefully.
In fact that whole post misses things. Slow down, read carefully and do not make smart alec remarks when it just shows you don't "get it".
Science also continually makes advances in ending life. I think science is neutral on this subject.
This is just a totally stupid statement.
And here is another one:
This one takes the cake doku. I guess every 40 years or so we will have microscopic surgeries to have telomere extensions for all of our 6 trillion cells. Yes, He has the faith!
and another one:
Nope. Fallacy after fallacy! I guess tulips and potatos are immortal too? They aren't grown from seeds either. Maybe we shouldn't be so hard on Mickey D's for frying all those immortal taters. Who knows, It seems to me that life expectancy started increasing about the time McDonalds came into the world. Maybe the potatto is the tree of life!
I think your fallacies are immortal doku. Now you equivocate aging with dying. All hydras die. They just don't age.
The above can be made to make sense only if you explain why you say it. Actually, you didn't think about the implications of it at all. It is an example of careless, unthinking posting.
The analogy doesn't have a leg unless you agree with itelligent design. With no intelligence, no design changes, and no ability to fix the failing machine. The medical field is wonderful evidence of intelligent design. But even the most intelligent human designer cannot prevent death indefinitetly.
There is nothing so bad about the above but it conflates meanings and trys to change the topic. Focus! Focus! AOK, Focus!
Biological science has problems definining alot of things. That's why they can fool people like you.
The above is another example of the kind of thing that has to stop.
You didn't actually expose any fallacies with what you posted because you didn't actually think through what was being posted to you and what you were saying.
The LOB discussion with you was conducted in a polite manner for a long time. Finally some ppl got impatient since you never, ever actually grappled with what you were being told. In that discussion you ignored a lot of what was said. Whether you were immature there too I don't recall but I think you'll find your pattern has been consistent.
You have very little knowledge or understanding of the science topics you are involved with. You don't know that and you act like you are much more knowledgeable than you are. You are resisting any possibility of learning. You avoid difficult spots. This is not acting maturely.
