There are errors in the Bible, that shouldn't alarm anyone or cause them to disbelieve it. You can google this to see what I mean. This has been admitted by many persons since the early 1800s and in some cases before that. That just means that man made some mistakes writing it down and/or translating it. I believe God lets this happen so that we have to learn for ourselves, individually, about Him (no offense ladies!) and what He is saying. He wants each of us to learn about Him personally. It can be done, has been done and is being done. I think the important thing is what we can learn from the scriptures, there is so much wonderful information it truly is a treasure chest of knowledge. Is God concerned about how much we learn? No. Is he concerned about how we use our knowledge? I think so. But, He wants us to learn - why else would He give us these words? Please let me know what you think about the scriptures and your opinion of some of what is being said! What you think about them is terribly important to me as I want to know differing opinions. Thank you.

Not Inclined to Promote
This is a debate forum, not a blog.
Ideally, an opening post should consist of the topic question or statement being considered and the poster's own position concerning the subject. Some background information on the topic question is also good when the question could be perceived several ways.
You didn't present a question or argument to be addressed. You didn't even provide examples relating to the topic title. You just gave general thoughts and ask that people comment. You OP is vague and not focused enough to start a thread.
There are a few open threads covering the vague subjects present in your proposed OP.
Atheist Appreciation of Biblical Wisdom and Inspiration
Textual Discrepancies & How They Could Impact Christianity
Living According to Christ: Is it Reasonable?
Who is really in charge of inspiration?
