Descendants of Adam

I have 2 simple questions to ask from evolutionary biologists. All answers will be appreciated.My questions are whether evolutionary science contradicts the following statements.1. We, human beings, are descendants of a single human being, ie. Adam.2. Evolution is God's way of creating life.I know many will disagree with my statements. But, does evolution really contradict these statements?
