The following are claims made by IamJoseph.
They are mostly from debates I have had with him but some are from other debates where people have advised they have not received an answer. He asked me to start the threads on whatever I wanted him to discuss in more detail.
I cannot seem to make head or tail of most of IamJosephs claims and he is making some claims that are outside my field.
Would it be possible for individuals who know about the subject matter to respond to these claims?
With regards to cause and effect, IamJoseph seems to believe that something must exist first, before it can be created. In most of his discussions he says that light must exist before a star can produce light. He also claims that all aspects of the universe were made for the purpose of sustaining the current life that exists. The day/night cycle, the distance of the earth to the sun, the existence of the sun itself etc were all intentionaly made so that life could exist now. I am unsure if I have just misunderstood him, IamJoseph, feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
IamJoseph, here are the statements you have made that I wish to discuss.
IamJoseph on physics and cause and effect -
We can accept light predating stars: a star cannot produce light unless light pre-existed.
There are many means of producing light. But none can perform that feat if light per se was not pre-existant of those means.
Fusion could not produce light unless the light was a precedent product. I mentioned that light is producible via a host of means - but light possesses unique transcendent traits not shared by any of those means.
Here, our sun's light was critically focused to produce specifically sufficient light and darkess aniticipating a host of life forms.
The entire universe turns via intelligent laws and appears only as a work of wisdom.
light and darkness is conducive to anticipating life forms.
light is the first product seperated from the void; the universe could not have emerged in a single entity; and everything in the universe operates via magestic laws - that is 100% science. Further, the deliberations of changes and osmosis does not impact there is nowhere else for any componenents to come from but the original construct; the implied variations of intent and purpose does not negate the requirement of anticipatory actions to usher in a result - like light and darkness, and water and land sepeations - these have no other reseasoning than to welcome life.
a host of actions listed in Genesis - its not a random. It must be displayed with focused actions which anticipate life, such as critical focusing of light and darkness on this planet which produces equal sleep time for life forms [unlike the 12 year dark nights on Jupiter]; separation of water from land; a measured protocol of life for its sustainenance, etc. If it was random, animals would appear before vegetation - and life would not prevail. Genesis wins from a true scientific POV.
What should be listed after light - which other products? This becomes a mute point because it will account for trillions of actions. What is relevant for humans is what came next relative to humans. Namely what came next for earth - the subject for us. These should include those actions which anticipate life; what can these be? How about a focusing on this solar system, namely the critical incline of the earth relative to our sun, such as the critical seperation of DAY and NIGHT? How about getting closer to the earth now, because its about anticipation of life - like the seperation of water from land, to cater to a host of life forms which will appear? What happens when we extend this thread - we find the first life form being vegetation - which is again anticipatory to all life forms fortheir sustainence.
Genesis is 100% vindicated.
