Well, we seem to be running out of places to discuss this, 'cos of thread closure, and I promised that I'd start a thread like this, so this seems to be the perfect time.
So, here we are again.
In the blue corner we have Barack Obama, a Secret Muslim Communist!!! who used his time machine to Destroy The American Economy!!!, who Wants The Terrorists To Win!!! but occasionally has some of them shot by accident, who has Raised Our Taxes!!! by lowering them, and who has Taken Away Our Freedoms!!! in some way that we can't actually specify. And most damning of all, he Concealed His Birth Certificate!!! by showing it to the media.
In the red corner we have Mitt Romney, a guy who has real faults that weren't invented by crazy people.

Things Paul Ryan Doesn't Know
Apparently, which direction time goes in.
Paul Ryan slammed President Obama on Thursday for failing to rescue an auto factory in his Wisconsin district one that closed in 2008, under President George W. Bush.
Have we found the new Sarah Palin?

Re: Things Paul Ryan Doesn't Know
What scares me is that it looks like Paul Ryan is getting away with this lie. I did a search and I couldn't find a single mainstream news source calling this lie out.
Like I said, I'm afraid Obama might be on his way out...

Ye of little faith. Start reading 538 and when Nate Silver thinks Obama won't win, then you have my permission to get worried.

The lies do work on some people. Last week there was a news item about the owner of an ice cream parlor who turned down a visit by the vice president ostensibly because of the "You didn't build that" line.

Hi NoNukes
The lies do work on some people. Last week there was a news item about the owner of an ice cream parlor who turned down a visit by the vice president ostensibly because of the "You didn't build that" line.
And thereby missed an opportunity to discuss his outrage with the VP and become a hero to the GOP?
Or just another bubble republican that only watches FNN (Faux Noise Nonsense) or CNN (Conservative Note Nattering)?
Enjoy.

I think the likelihood is that the parlor owner is a republican who just didn't want to assist democrats and repeated a party line.
FNN (Faux Noise Nonsense) or CNN (Conservative Note Nattering)?
But I don't have the impression that CNN is helping to spread this particular lie. I haven't watched Fox News since the last election cycle.

Leader Of "Non-Partisan Group" Turns Out To Have Been Driven Insane By Partisanship
The leader of Swift Boat Retards For Being Halfwits or whatever they call themselves manages to make Buzsaw look well-adjusted ... well, OK, not quite, but who could?
"I have to admit that I'm a Birther," said SOS founder Larry Bailey, a retired 27-year veteran of the Navy SEALs, in an interview. "If there were a jury of 12 good men and women and the evidence were placed before them, there would be absolutely no question Barack Obama was not born where he said he was and is not who he says he is."
Bailey, who is part of the leadership of SOS's effort to mobilize thousands to take to the streets to denounce Obama's treatment of the military through an SOS project called Operation Street Corner, doesn't only believe that the president is a foreigner. He also believes that he is not actually the son of Barack Obama, Sr. Bailey trumpeted the conspiracy theory that the president is actually the love child of Ann Dunham and writer Frank Marshall Davis.
"In his books, Obama said his mentor was a fellow named Frank Marshall Davis. Frank Marshall Davis was a member of Communist Party USA, he wrote for the communist party's Hawaii newsletter, he was a close friend of Obama's mother, and there's a strong case that Frank Marshall Davis rather than Barack Obama, Sr. was Barack Obama, Jr.'s father and that Barack Obama, Sr. was just an administrative father of convenience," Bailey said.

So, the "conspiracy" here is that Obama is hiding the fact that both of his parents were American citizens living in Hawaii where he was born?

Akin
Romney is not completely nuts, kudos to him:
For the second straight day, GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney blasted Akin’s remarks, calling them insulting, inexcusable and, frankly, wrong.
Like millions of other Americans, we found them to be offensive, Romney said in an interview with the conservative website National Review Online.
For those who haven't been following this, Akin is running for Senator in Missouri. He has some strong opinions on abortion, fair enough. But in defense of these opinions, he has explained to the world that if a woman gets raped, and she really gets raped, and isn't secretly thinking "yes, yes, yes, do me with your enormous masculine penis" then it's not biologically possible for her to get pregnant.
We're used to getting inaccurate science lessons from Republicans, but this has crossed the line.

Re: Akin
Actually, it puts him in a tough spot since his new BFF, Ryan, co-sponsored a 'personhood' bill in 2009. With Akin. And a bunch of other teabaggers favorites.
Even Mississippi rejected persons recognized in the womb!
I can't believe the Republican plank covering (gutting?) abortion rights is going to endear the independent women voters.

Re: Akin
Controlling women is controlling children and controlling children is everything in the long run. That is exactly was these Repugnicans think - Mr. Akin just happened to be stoopid enough to say it out loud.
GOP platform does not allow for abortion in any cases so this blabbering idiot is not alone in his ideology. VP candidate Ryan is not far off Todd's thoughts.
I really loath and despise the fact that middle-aged men are the loudest when it comes to decisions about women. Opposing HPV vaccine because it might increase promiscuity is as evil a thought as anything I can imagine.

You all listen to the lamestream pro-Obama media who's biased reports rarely tell the whole story and who propagate socialist-leftist anit-American causes.
Banes Capitol is just one example where they fail to report that the charges against Romney applied to well after he was out of it.
You claim to denounce CNN, all the while you haven't a clue as to their fair and balanced reportiing airs and all of the pertinent info they air which the lamestreams deprive you of.

Re: Get The Whole True[/i] Story From Fox
Filling up another thread with unevidenced crap I see.
Do you have any clue what a blithering idiot you sound like when you use Palinisms like "sheeple" and "lamestream"? Your words are not even original.
You actually expect to be taken serious when you don't even understand enough to spell Bain Capital correctly.
I won't ask you to support any of these utterly ridiculous points, because like everything you post you have absolutely nothing to back it up.
Please crawl back under your rock until you have something of actual substance to contribute.
Which is the case with most of you political ignorant Obama sheeple
This isn't even funny. This is incredibly sad and telling.
Politically ignorant? Really? Do you even understand the basics of socialism, communism and marxism? Do you know the difference? Can you tell us anything about Free Market Theory and Adam Smith?
You're not even a good caricature of yourself anymore.

Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts
"God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness.

Mitt Romney is a violent paedophile.
Most Republicans want to fuck children - but only the rich ones (like Romney, Ryan, et al) can get away with doing it so regularly.
Romney also helps run several sex trafficking organisations - working closely with the mafia.
When he isn't physically and sexually abusing children, he finds enough time to buy up businesses and force them in to bankruptcy.
This forces many decent people on to the streets who are then vulnerable to Romney's many drug dealers and pimps.
In summary: Mitt Romney is complete and utter scum who should be shot in to the sun.
