Roy Moore is such a great example of the Christian Cult of Ignorance that it is hard to believe he really exists and is not just a character in a low budget sitcom. You would think that he might learn from reality but no, it seems he is immune to that. Just over a decade ago he decided that Federal Laws and Rulings didn't apply in Alabama only to discover that jolly gee wiz, they did apply even in Alabama. But now he is at it again; says the Federal Ruling that struck down Alabama's ban on same sex marriages doesn't really apply in Alabama and so Justices are free to deny issuing such licenses.
What is really scary is that once again just as back in 1861 there seems to be wide spread support for the Judge's position that Alabama is not subject to Federal Laws. But remember Winston County.

Ken Ham isn't subject to the First Amendment, Alabama isn't subject to federal law, God's in his heaven, all's well with the world.

I am treating it as a sitcom.

No it isn't. We still have homos and lezzies and we're making them legal. God's wrath will be upon us all. He will make storms and higher beer prices and he will make you lose your car keys. We have sinned and we must lose our keys!

Moore is a hero to me of course. He knows that the people have voted against gay marriage and that their will should prevail over the misbegotten rulings of the Supreme Court that call the will of the people unconstitutional. He also knows that the laws of this nation were originally based on the Ten Commandments, which are also now treated as unconstitutional by the twisted mindset of Political Correctness.
Now comes the barrage of claims that I'm wrong and the SCOTUS are right. So I'm going to go take a nap.

a: Which people have voted against it? Polls have consistently shown a majority of US citizens are in favor of allowing same-sex marriage since 2010
b: since when were rights determined by popular vote?

I wonder what the current record for State Supreme court Chief Justices getting thrown out of office?
But the man is certainly entertaining and fun to laugh at.

So you don't think the Constitution should be the supreme law of the land?

We're fortunate to live in a country where the majority's penchant for tyranny is held in check. The will of the people *should* will out, but not to target disfavored groups for persecution. Our country embraces principles that mere majorities cannot vanquish.

That's not the worst of it. This new gay marriage is making me have to rethink my marriage. How can I look my wife in the back of her head when two gay men could be doing the same thing as a married couple? I'm not saying we will get divorced but the thought of gays having the same licence to be together as us cheapens our heterosexual love for each other.
Somehow.

The above ontological example models the zero premise to BB theory. It does so by applying the relative uniformity assumption that the alleged zero event eventually ontologically progressed from the compressed alleged sub-microscopic chaos to bloom/expand into all of the present observable order, more than it models the Biblical record evidence for the existence of Jehovah, the maximal Biblical god designer.

And there's the barrage. Nicely done. I think you all touched on all the usual accusations and false claims. Since I've answered them all a bazillion times before there's no point in exerting myself again.

It's bizarre. You admire Moore BECAUSE he opposes the Constitution and wants a tyranny of the majority. Why should you object to other people saying as much ?

So once again you can only claim to have already provided evidence or support yet no link to where or when that might have happened.
But the point is that Roy Moore really seems to be a very slow learner with no understanding of Constitutional Law, history, reality, justice or the government of the USA despite having been taught that lesson repeatedly. Perhaps it is just a matter of senility or loss of memory and not yet another case of flagrant failure to fulfill his legal obligations.
Not to worry though, the citizens of Alabama will just have to pay yet again for his remedial education.

I made neither an accusation nor a claim. I asked a question. My question follows naturally from your stated position. Either you think the Constitution should be the supreme law of the land or you think states have the right to disregard it. This question doesn't call for an essay response, it's yes or no. Do you think the Constitution should be the supreme law of the land.

It's one of three legs that make up the Law of the Land, the other two being laws passed by Congress and signed by the President and Treaties.
