Anyone else having trouble with certain Google services?
The search works okay for me, but the image search only loads the first few images and then hangs. Youtube is also not loading, along with several Google widgets on certain webpages.
This has been going on all morning.
If it's just me I'll have to figure out a way to fix it; but if there's a wider problem I'll go read a book and wait for Google to tidy up their mess

Hmm... I can't get them to go in any browser.
Maybe it's regional.
http://downrightnow.com/youtube seems to hang when waiting for information from chart.apis.google.com. Others hang when loading from ytimg.com.
Strangely, I can ping youtube with no problem, but all my computers are failing to load the page no matter the browser.
My cellphone gets on just fine, though.
I wonder if any other Mid Westerners are having problems...
ABE:
It must be something regional going awry. I can access everything via proxy. So it's either my ISP or whatever nearby server being used for Google content that is down.

Have you tried running a trace route?
If you are on a PC, the command is:
tracert {URL}
eg.
tracert Google
It will show you the 'hops' to get to the destination system. If any of them appear slow or hang, you can narrow down where the problem exists.

I tried that and it works fine, though youtube.com has only six steps while a site like EvC has 13.

It was faster before, but now it is going really slow, though still giving the same results.
ABE: The current slowness and hanging in the tracert happens on step 6, right before it gets to Youtube.com.

No problem here.
I have seen that occasionally in the past, but not recently. You are possibly being redirected to a particular server which happens to not be talking to your network. It will probably clear up after a few hours.

Fixed!
It will probably clear up after a few hours.
And that seems to be what it did within the past half hour or so.
