Sup yall, im new to this site and im here to learn about evolution and if its even for real. Im from kentucky but im going to move to the Nyc whenever i turn 21. My first question is, how can a reptile evolve into a bird. everyone says that birds came from the dinasoars, but how is this even possible. Reptiles dont have the genetic codes for feathers. And i thought all the dinasoars got wipes out by asteroids, then howd they evolve into birds if they were dead. Dont these two theories contradict eachother?

Hi NewYorkCityBoy,
Welcome to the forum.
You already seem to have asked some of these questions on one of the human-chimp genetics threads, where in and of themselves they are off topic. As an opening post this is fairly short, I'd recommend that instead of trying to start a new thread you use the search funciton to find an already extant thread on birds and dinosaurs, such as the Archaeopteryx and Dino-Bird Evolution thread, on which to ask these questions.
So as an OP I'm going to reject this, but don't be afraid to ask more questions.
TTFN,
AW
