I don't get why it is still even being debated about "IF" the Darwin theory is true? It is almost strange to me how people just deliberately ignore the "facts" and the "laws" of nature in order to believe in "Darwinian Evolution".
*Non-living matter does "not" reproduce. Non-living matter does not produce "living matter". So how can anyone logically even fathom such an idea. Evidence pointing to creation.
*The earth's magnetic field's decay rate is perfect evidence that the earth is only 1,000's of years old. Scientists know that if the earth was older than 10,000 years everything would have melted away. No life would have been able to exist under such an intense magnetic field. ( evidence the earth is less than 10,000 years)
*The atmosphere's helium content is evidence to the earth's youth. Helium escapes at a much slower rate than it enters the earth's atmosphere...if all of earth's helium came from the rocks decay byproduct(and all of it didn't) the earth could not be any older than 1 to 2 million years old. Since fusion also produces helium it is actually as the magnetic field shows us much younger.
* Whale skeletons on mountains? Sea snail fossils on top of mountains? Sea life bones and fossils on various land parts of the world? Fossils of fish still with prey in its mouth? Fossils of animals in the act of giving birth? (Obvious evidence of Noah's flood and rapid burial...and not slow and long Darwinian evolutionary process)
*DNA begins to decay after one dies. Scientists agree that at the rate DNA decays there would be no traceable DNA left after about 10,000 years. Darwin didn't know this of course...as they hadn't discovered this yet...unfossilized dinosaur bones as well as fossilized show traceble DNA. (less than 10,000 years old)
*Carbon14 decays at a decay rate that there would be no tracebable C14 in 40,000 years. Dinosaur fossils and unfossilized bones have traceable C14. (less than 40,000 years old)
* Red-blood cells also decay at a rate that there would be no more traceable red-blood cells after 10,000 years. Dinosaur bones have been found with red-blood cells. ( evidence that the dinosaurs are less than 10,000 years old)
* Haley's comet wouldn't still be coming around if it passed through our solar system anymore than 10,000 years...it has a portion of it melted away every time it passes by our sun.
Conclusion: Evidences point to what the Bible has recorded. Evidences are against "Darwinian Evolution". There is obvious design and purpose as well as purposeful function in all of creation.
So why is this still being debated? Why is this Darwinian myth so die-hard? This puzzles me. Any comments?

Welcome
Welcome to EvCForum, Truth.
There's a lot in your post, you may wish to break it down and choose a single point to debate rather than handling a long list.
Be sure to look around the forum, as many of your points have been discussed before here. You may find some of them answered already.
As always, we hope you'll stay and join the ongoing debate.
AdminIRH

Bump
Truth,
You got feedback on your new topic proposal. Instead of using your time to spam other threads about your topic or to antagonize other posters, I would strongly suggest you use it to edit your new post or read through some of the threads suggested to you by AdminIRH.
You need to be a lot more careful and thoughtful with your posting here. You've already been warned TWICE by AdminJar about spamming threads with your proposed new topic.
Let's take care of business here. If you need further instructions on how to proceed please reply here to this post.
Thanks.

Re: Bump
Yes. I would like some instruction on how to proceed as that was an unexpected and pretty harsh response. I just thought that challenging the poster on his posts were what I was doing. I didn't get any response on Proposed New Topics on my question so I thought that I would present it on and during an already started debate. Nevertheless, I did not expect such a harsh response by the administration team. My apologies.

Re: Bump
Truth.
Sure, I'm glad I got your attention; that was the purpose of being harsh. I'm happy to work together with you, it just seemed like the admin messages sent to you were not getting through. I'm glad to see you're interested in working on this post together and getting it out there.
AdminIRH did send you an initial post below. He mentioned that there are many different ideas in your post. Our board has many topics; we try to make each thread specific. Otherwise, the discussion topic changes often, and it's hard to really address any one point well. So, let's work on choosing one topic from your original post, and let's make a thread out of it.
Actually you've done a really good job listing specific points. Many of those points have been addressed in existing threads; you can use the "search" function to try and locate such threads. I'll try and help you out too. But each one of your bullet points is a good example of how specific we try to keep our threads.
Try to read around a bit and see what topics are already available to you. Also, you've been challenged to post about Ken Hovind; I would suggest you find a thread about Ken Hovind (just search on his name using the search function) and post to there.
If you have any question, please post them here and I'll answer them as best I can. I'm here to make your stay at EvC as enjoyable and fruitful as possible. As long as I feel you're willing to work with me, I'm more than willing to work with you!
Now, on to the points in your list:
*Non-living matter does "not" reproduce. Non-living matter does not produce "living matter". So how can anyone logically even fathom such an idea. Evidence pointing to creation.
Try browsing through our "Origin of Life" forum and see if there are any threads there that address this issue. If not, you can create a new topic proposal for this.
*The earth's magnetic field's decay rate is perfect evidence that the earth is only 1,000's of years old. Scientists know that if the earth was older than 10,000 years everything would have melted away. No life would have been able to exist under such an intense magnetic field. ( evidence the earth is less than 10,000 years)
Good topic. Check "geology and the great flood", for an existing topic.
I KNOW there's a topic for helium out there. Please use the search function to find it.
You may also want to familairize yourself iwth the TalkOrigins archive. I think they address most of your statements there. Here's a link to some discussion about helium:
RATE's Ratty Results: Helium in Zircons
* Whale skeletons on mountains? Sea snail fossils on top of mountains? Sea life bones and fossils on various land parts of the world? Fossils of fish still with prey in its mouth? Fossils of animals in the act of giving birth? (Obvious evidence of Noah's flood and rapid burial...and not slow and long Darwinian evolutionary process)
Lots of topics all bundled in one here. We just had two whale threads... try looking through the "biological evolution" forum. If you can't find threads that address these issues, try creating a new topic based on ONE of these ideas. And when you do, please make sure to add supporting information (i.e. links to online information, references to books) so that others can read some of your source material and understand where you're coming from.
(less than 10,000 years old)
and
* Red-blood cells also decay at a rate that there would be no more traceable red-blood cells after 10,000 years. Dinosaur bones have been found with red-blood cells. ( evidence that the dinosaurs are less than 10,000 years old)
This has been a well-discussed topic, both here and elsewhere on the web. Again, you might want to start with looking through the TalkOrigins archive. If you're not familiar with it before posting here, you'll be unprepared to respond to people's criticisms of your statements.
Dino Blood Redux
*Carbon14 decays at a decay rate that there would be no tracebable C14 in 40,000 years. Dinosaur fossils and unfossilized bones have traceable C14. (less than 40,000 years old)
I personally haven't heard this one or seen a thread on it. If you can provide supporting information, you can start a new topic on this one.
* Haley's comet wouldn't still be coming around if it passed through our solar system anymore than 10,000 years...it has a portion of it melted away every time it passes by our sun.
I haven't heard this one either, but I'm no expert. Again, please make sure to keep your topics narrow and to provide supporting information.

I hope you can see from my comments how new topic proposals work here, how you can search for existing threads to post in, and good places to get information in order to familiarize yourself with common responses and prepare yourself for debate.
We have posters here ranging from interested amateurs to researchers who are leaders in their fields. I'd strongly suggest that you read around for a while, take a look at the discussions that have gone on here, and get a feel for what's been said and what's not been said. It will also help you choose what topics are good new topics, and which have been addressed many times over.
Again, please send any questions or comments along right here. I hope this post isn't too overwhelming, but rather is informative and helpful.
Thanks.

AdminBen,
Hi. I have tried to make some replies to some of the topics and haven't been able to. Was I suspended or something? I'm not sure I understand what's going on yet. Or are some topics closed? Need help.

Re: Bump
Truth,
There's no restrictions on you. There are a couple of topics that have had computer problems associated with them (please see http://EvC Forum: Post your short questions here. No need to start a thread everytime. -->EvC Forum: Post your short questions here. No need to start a thread everytime. for a discussion of the problem). We've recently moved to a dedicated server; I think the software problem stems from that.
Otherwise, I'm not sure what's going on. What symptoms are you seeing of the problem? Do you get an error message from the message board software? Or does you browser simply not change pages? Or do you get a white page that says server error?
Sorry for the trouble.

There are some general restrictions that are true for all forums:
- You cannot reply to posts in the Proposed New Topics Forum
- You cannot reply to posts in any "retired" forums (Free for All, Welcome Visitors, Short Subjects"
- You cannot reply to posts in any "closed" thread
- You cannot START THREADS in most forums
Next time let me know what forum and thread you're trying to post in, and I can explain more specifically directly what's going on.

Re: Bump
Truth,
I'm going to shut this thread down. Use the suggestions I made for opening PNT (proposed new topics) in the future. You can direct questions to the appropriate threads below. Or, check out the "Suggestions and Questions" forum to find existing threads to post to, or to create a new question there (you can create a new question in that forum directly without restriction).
See you around the forum, and I hope you'll enjoy yourself here at EvC.
