I have no indepth knowledge of fossils or the Bible. Without considering any evidence whatsoever, I tend to believe Science because of one simple reason: out of the two systems of beliefs, Science is the more flexible one. If Creationism is the "truth," then I think Science will arrive at Creationism someday. Whereas I don't think one could say the same about Creationism to Science, if that makes any sense.
A overwhelming simplification of the great debate I know. No disrespect intended toward Creationists, just my two cents. Any thoughts at this generalized level?

Agreed
I agree with you.
The only little fine point of detail would be the problem of getting science to arrive at God. If s/he is purely super-natural then there isn't anything to examine in the way of evidence. We'd only have a big "I dunno" somewhere. If s/he isn't purely outside of the natural then I guess we can get into philosophical arguments about just what a "God" is. But if s/he left evidence then s/he'd become part of the explanations science uses.

You know, that is one of the most succinct explanations I've ever read. Good show.

'I have no indepth knowledge of fossils or the Bible'
you have chosen science like when you believe or read the bible it is chosing against it , the bible is not against science, you should read it though if only to see the other side to the story , (evolution)it does not make any mention of evolution but it mentions creation in genesis .you can still believe science as the bible is not against it!

What, like when the Bible says that insects have four legs and science says they have 6; or that science says it's impossible for a man to ride inside a whale but the bible says it happened; or that science says that it's impossible to fit 2 of each "kind" onto an ark and expect them to survive for almost a year?
Other than that, yes, I suppose science isn't against the bible.
