Ken is using (and abusing?) the "Free For All" forum, to dodge the moderators, and more significantly, to dodge the forum guidelines.
There are very valid reasons for the forum guidelines (even if applied in the "FFA"). If Ken wants to ignore them, I think it would also only be fair for the other members to ignore Ken.
I also wish to remind the "spread too thin" Ken to not open any more new topics. Consider that a SUGGESTION (as in "you'll get suspended if you do") from the admin alter-ego Adminnemooseus.

While I agree that Ken is abusing the FFA, I have now restricted him to that forum, and to threads that he has already started there.
This decision was made due to his refusal to utilize forum functions correctly (reply arrows), his stated refusal to supply support for his assertions, and his refusal to debate in good faith by continual editing of his OPs.

Keeping fingers off the keyboard
, It has been awhile since I bothered to post anything to Kenny. My hand is raised, well away from the keyboard.

Ken, its their website, their house, their rules. Its their way or the highway.
Whats wrong with you ?
You feed all the bad stereotypes of creationism. Resurrect or stay in the grave.

Hi Willow,
Even tho' we're on diametrically opposed sides in this debate, I agree whole-heartedly with this sentiment:
Willowtree writes:

It's posters like Kendemeyer who really give creationism - and, to be honest, Christians in general - a bad name. Keep working on him. Maybe he'll see the light...

This situation has been discussed in the past, between Admin/Percy and myself (in e-mails I believe). In a sense, are we showing an anti-creationist bias, by tolerating and even giving special accommodations, to the excesses by certain creationists? A "problem child" evolutionist of the Ken magnitude would most likely have already been suspended.
This is the prime situation, where having a creationist side moderator would be valuable to this forum. This moderator could come down on Ken, without having the image of anti-creationist bias.

Don't get me wrong, O Mighty Horned One. I empathize with Willowtree, and am eternally grateful that I'm not in his shoes. However, as a card-carrying Evil Atheist and willing mind-slave of the Vast Worldwide Evolutionist Conspiracy (tm), I can but regard with undisguised and unhallowed glee people like Kendemeyer and his ilk. After all, they make the case that creationism is the last refuge of the ignorant far, far better than I ever could. It simply isn't in my interest to have you ban him.
edited to add: Not only that, but I have no need to even engage him (and I'll even argue with Syamasu, for pity's sake). You'll note that I have not once responded to old Kendemeyer. There's no reason to - he's doing a bang up job all on his own without my help.

What is he hoping to achieve?
What get me is I really do not know what Ken and others of his ilk are trying to acheive.
Is their faith so weak that they need to fit the London Philharmonic Orchestra inside a whale's belly for three days before they will believe the Bible is the Word of God. If they have faith in Jesus as Lord and Saviour why on earth are they running about making total fools of themselves by trying to find a worldwide flood, or contorting what little piece of grey matter that they have trying to prove that a porphecy in the Bible is actually true?
But, even when humongous errors are pointed out to them, they just ignore it and make some childish excuse to maintain their fantasy, why bother looking for evidence if you are not going to accept that there is any possible way that contrary evidence could be true?
I agree with most of the atheists here, let Ken post away, he damages his own faith far more than we ever could. A bit of a shame for the other Christians who are sensible and well meaning, if we are astounded at Ken's ignorance how do you think rational Christians who read these boards feel?
I also would like to say that Buz and Skepdick should share some of the responsibility, they were really encouraging Ken to post more and they were jumping about with glee at a lot of the things Ken had posted. We all know that 99% of what Ken posted was/is just crap, but these two kept urging Ken on, hence ensuring that Ken continued to make a bigger fool of himself. These two people should be ashamed of themselves.
Brian.

I hate to admit this, but I love it when creationists/fundamentalists like kendemyer show up. And the more ill-mannered, the better. I miss whatever, too.

Remember 'Wise' the guy who saw Jesus in everything from a tree trunk to some Hubble telescope picture?
He saw Jesus in this cloud, he must have very good eyesight.

Re: What is he hoping to achieve?
One of the reasons that I've kept trying with Ken is that I'm a Christian too and I don't like the way he is misrepresenting me and millions of others and our beliefs. We're not all like that, honest, some of us are even scientists who believe in evolution , in fact I would think that the vast majority of Christians have no truck with this type of blind, bigotted behaviour from people who are so wrapped up in their own little fantasy that they can't even use the brain that God gave them.
Sadly, in Ken's eyes, this just makes me a "pretend" Christian, so I suppose I should start ignoring him too. He's bad for my blood pressure
