Author | Topic: Hey, I think I saw Salty! | |||||||||||||||||||||||

I was in Burlington Wednesday and a fellow that looks an awful lot like Salty's picture on his website was trying to park a red Suzuki SUV in a spt that was clearly too small for it - that to pulling out of a spot.
Salty - do you drive a red SUV? ------------------(2) "A second characteristic of the pseudo-scientist, which greatly strengthens his isolation, is a tendency toward paranoia," which manifests itself in several ways: ...(3) He believes himself unjustly persecuted and discriminated against...(4) He has strong compulsions to focus his attacks on the greatest scientists and the best-established theories. ..

Maybe he was on his way to gather all that hard evidence for the semi-meoitic hypothesis
Did the liscence plate read "Grasse agrees with me 000"?

I'll bet he was being followed by a black Crown Victoria with tinted windows and a bumper sticker that reads 'HONK if your atheist materialist paradigm stifles dissent', driven by the agents of his persecutors in the scientific elite.

Who'd want to stalk? I'd run the other way, fast!

What do you mean stalking?
He lives near Burlington, and I live in central Vermont and occasionally go to Burlington. I just happened to notice what could have been him as my wife and I walked away from our car. If it was him, it is just an entertaining coincidence. Believe me when I say it - if I was going to take the risk of stalking someone, it sure as hell would not be him...

Hey... all I'm saying is, when a guy starts keeping a continuous watch as to where someone is on the internet, keeping records of his movements on various forums, and then moves on to statements like "I saw you getting into your car today," it comes off a little creepy.

NosyNed,
I'm sure Berg, Broom, Grasse, Goldschmidt, Schindewolf, et. al., would agree with you ! Cheers ! Frank

Given salty's fixation on long dead "scientists"...could this be the car you are after Scott?

LOL!
And given the distance separating the two occupants of the vehicle, they only have the current option of reproducing asexually by semi-meiosis...maybe the bovid pulling it can to and then they would have a team of new species to speed up their ride

quote:Then I guess it is a good thing that I have done none of that. Not that this is a big deal, but I don't like the implication. I encountered Salty at Terry Trainor's den of idiots. First time I ever encountered him. HE then came HERE. Then HE went to ARN and came back HERE and announced it. Then HE went to ISCID and came back HERE and announced it. I had been occasionally lurking at both of those forums for some time - at ARN for a couple of years. If anything, then, he would have been following me around - after all, it was HE who mentioned my activity on other forums first. Get your history straight before making such unsavory implications, please. ------------------(2) "A second characteristic of the pseudo-scientist, which greatly strengthens his isolation, is a tendency toward paranoia," which manifests itself in several ways: ...(3) He believes himself unjustly persecuted and discriminated against...(4) He has strong compulsions to focus his attacks on the greatest scientists and the best-established theories. ..

You can't see the vanity license plate, but it reads:
IMOLD Might explain the reliance upon 50 year old refs...

If anything, then, he would have been following me around - after all, it was HE who mentioned my activity on other forums first. Ah, so I am right again, he has been stalking you. The thing that would concern me, if I were you that is, is that these religious types are very unstable. You have constantly ripped Salty's ideas to shreds, not just refuted them, but seriously demolished them. These theories are all that Salty had, what else does he have to live for? Now if he could only meet the 'thorn in his flesh' face to face, then maybe ol' Salty would be able to explain his theories in a clearer, more persuasive fashion. I'd sleep with the light on if I were you.
