Which member of the forum is your favourite poster, whose messages are normally interesting and well-thought out?
Personally, I think there are a few in the running.
I enjoy readng Egde's posts, where he invariably destroys almost everything that TC posts. Mark24 has posted a few posts recently that are extremely well thought out and interesting to read. Dan and Hambre can always be relied upon to cheer me up, but they both post excellent thoughtful messages as well.
My personal favourite, although he isn't posting as often as he used to is John.
I always look forward to John's posts, there's never any messing about with him and his posts are normally well-researched and informative.
I enjoy most of the posts here, Paulk, Crashfrog, Rrhain, Truthlover, Mammuthus, percy, Zephyr, Ned, Asgara, Docbill, Wounded King and Schraf all normally post very enjoyable posts.
But, for me, John just beats Edge in a photo finish!
Brian.

Percipient is my favorite poster, and I'd say that even if I didn't know he ran the place. Seriously! He's the very model of good sportsmanship and calm, intelligent debate.
Mike the Wiz is my other favorite. For a believer he works very hard to avoid the tone of arrogant ignorance that seems to characterize your average creationist. Perhaps for that reason I feel a little protective whenever the evolutionists try to run him through the gauntlet.
To me, though, even the trolls make it fun to post here. Thanks everybody for such stimulating debate.

For my money, Mammuthus rules. A PhD in molecular genetics who can spew forth citations on studies of out-of-the-way loci in the genome of an obscure arthropod, the Mamster has a wicked sense of humor that belies the fact he was frozen in a glacier for millennia. Still no luck on that testable hypothesis from the IDC camp, though. Sigue buscando, hermano!

I won't disagree with anyone's choices but I think Brian and especially Bill Birkeland deserve a mention. Bill doesn't post often but when he does it is always worth reading.

As much as I hate to, I agree with PaulK. If it werent for Bill, my hypothesis on the specimen ridge 'fossil forests' would actually carry some lead weight. I'm still trying to get ahold of Amidon's 1997 thesis.

Asgara- Just like Asgara
Schrafinator,

I enjoy reading so many posters here that I'd be afraid to try enumerating them for fear of inadvertently forgetting a few. So instead of giving my favorite I'll just say that the posters who leave me with the deepest impression are those who are able to admit when they're wrong. I've never been wrong myself, though I might be wrong about that!

Nice, mind if I use that one.

Brian, Your forgot yourself! It was reading your posts on the Exodus thread that got me hooked on this forum. And I thank you for even mentioning me in your list of illustrious posters, all my favorites.
I can't help but agree with Crash, on favorite creationist. Mike darlin', you always get my vote.
edited to add Rei, she is a fountain of knowledge on many subjects and never fails to offer a concise, well thought out answer.

I, too, look forward to John's posts, as well as Crash, Schraf, DC85, Asgara, Mike and Keyster.
I cannot leave out Brad; I, along with several others, are still trying to interpret some of his posts! (J/K, Brad; very interesting stuff though)

My favorite poster....? Well, it might be that old one of Farrah Fawcett, or maybe the recent one with Mary-Kate and Ashley on that deck in high heels....
Oh, sorry. Never mind.

I asked Zhimbo if I was obligated to name him as my favorite poster and he said that I was not, so...
(I am positive that I will leave some folks out, so sorry in advance)
My past and present favorites:
Jet - frustrating, but always could be counted on to say the most silly, entertaining things.
Percipient - wow, talk about the velvet hammer.
Joe Meert - good old Joe. I miss his writing.
Truthlover - very open and willing to share of himself.
Dr. Bill-very, very knowledegable and a clever turn of phrase is never far from his keyboard.
Crashfrog - Seems like someone with which I share a great deal in common, life philosophy-wise. He's nicer than I am in posts, though.
Also Dan, Mark, Brian, Rei, Asgara, Mr. Pamboli, Mammuthus, Mr.Hambre, John, TC, Zephyr, WK.
Gee, I guess I know why I come here, eh?

There are so many really good posters on this forum. It is really one of the (if not the) best forums I have come across in terms of quality of posts and a nice balance of creationists and evolutionists...
I joined after reading a lot of Quetzal's top notch posts which usually have enough information in them to fullfil the requirements for a masters thesis...sum it all together and he would have a Ph.D. in creationist bashing
but I don't have a favorite since there are just too many excellent participants on the evolution side (though I would have to give Mr. Hambre the trophy for the funniest posts of all time...and his Brad McFall tag line almost cost me a lung)
I will give my take on favorite creationist posters.
Tranquility Base (who is largely absent these days) was one of the nicest and most willing debaters I have interacted with on this site. I miss his participation. defenderofthefaith while often posting the same tired old creationist arguments is agreeable like Tranquility Base and seems to be both interested and willing to debate. As hard as it is to believe for anyone who read any of my interactions with him, Peter Borger was a favorite of mine. I really looked forward each day to what wild nonsense with a shallow scientific layer of jargon he would bring to the table to argue...and the W. nobilis as "proof" against evolution was one of the most bizarre interactions I think I have ever had on a scientific subject..well other than the guy who wanted to do microsatellite analysis of Elvis Presley and then offer to genotype fans to see how closely related they were to the King for a couple of thousand a pop....while there have been other creationists that have been interesting, I would have to pick the three mentioned as favorites of mine.
for pure low comedy salty and Sy are tops ;

He even recently did a spoof of the Charlie Daniels Band's "Devil went down to Georgia" as a rip on creationists...apparently Charlie Daniels is an outspoken creationist
