Today I was at (don`t snigger) the Vermont dairy festival (a friend of the wifes family is running for governor so we were doing the political thing)...

So theres a guy from a baptist church there handing out pamphlets entitled "the dairy quiz" I will now quote verbatim question 8)

quote:
8)Cows were created by who?
A)Jesus
B)Mary
C)Allah
D)Evolution

Does any one else see the problem?

Can`t be A), within the Christian paradigm God created cows several thousand years before Jesus was born....

Even Catholics wouldn`t argue for Mary...

Evolution doesn`t "Create" per se and is not a "who" and therefore cannot be a legitimate answer to the question that was asked although if the wording was changed to allow non anthropomorphic solutions it would be IMHO the correct answer....

Which leaves us with C)....

The only internaly consistent answer....

Way to go you fucking baptist idiots you just endorsed Islam...

See? Even they agree! Who said that Jesus was God anyway?

***That was banal, in a fatuitous sort of way, but then only an obtuse individual would write such a post and expect it to be taken seriously. I surmise that you have never read much, if any, of the Bible. You most definitely have never read the gospel of John because even a fatuous individual could read the gospel of John and be able to comprehend the fact that your post is littered with inanity and ignorance.***

Shalom, Chaverim, Shalom, Chaverim, Shalom! Shalom! L'hitraot, L'hitraot, Shalom, Shalom.

Ok Jet you show me the passage in the bible where it says Jesus created cows, or any four legged critter for that matter....

The only thing banal about this is the idiots at the colonial bible baptist church, 3 cook road, Swanton, VT whose theology is as bad if not worse than their science....

***Well, I wouldn't presume to speak for "the idiots at the colonial bible baptist church, 3 cook road, Swanton, VT whose theology is as bad if not worse than their science", as you put it, but as for Yahshua(Jesus) being the Creator, read John 1:1-23. It is easy reading and very easy to understand.***

Leave you ad hominem attacks at the door, my friend; it is an unprovoked attack on the poster's character. Besides, you haven't accomplished anything with that statement except prove your inability to argue coherently.

Jet received considerable admonitions from the Admin over time and hasn't been seen here for a while. His posts here were characterized by just such attacks as well as an inability to sustain a topic or support his points.

--Hm.. I must confess, I have never been made aware as to a definition of 'ad hominem', I know its usage, but I'd like to know exactly what it is synonymous toward for more accuracy on that point. Thanks

Well, an ad hominem attack is an attack on the person's character instead of the argument at hand. It's a fallacy because the character is not at issue here.
