Any theists have a good response to Euthyphro's Dilemma?
"Is it good because god says it's good, or is it good because god recognizes it as good"

I can't say for sure, but in my copy of the KJV (here )
Genesis, in part, runs thus:
[3] And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
[4] And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
To me this suggests that God recognised Light as "good" and therefore decided to separate it from Darkness so the latter couldn't mar Light's beauty.
Afterthought: However, translating bibles into English ended up with such anomalies as a hawser turning into a camel, and Arabs disintegrating into "mixed multitude", so you never know...
