Since there are no Wyatt supporters currently active in this group I am posting to Links & Information. Please respect this forum by starting a new topic for discussion of the information.
A Wyatt supporter started a thread on Wyatt's alleged discoveries on the IIDB board. One of the pictures posted was of what appeared to be a metal wheel on the sea floor. That image is reproduced in the page of the thread - but lower down anohter poster has provided an image of many similar wheels. Brass handwheels from steamships.
I should also note that in one of the earlier discussion of the subject I noted a significant lack in the photographs provided by the Wyatt crew - there was no scale - or anything else - provided to judge the size of the items. Anyone with even a basic familiarity with archaeological work would know that that was an unusual omission. As a result of this omission it is entirely possible that the wheel in the photograph is a relatively small handwheel.
