Now, I'm not just posting this thread as a cheap advertising trick (that's what my sig is for) for the Wiki to which I spend much time contributing, but I really think everyone on this forum, given you are likely to be interested in evolution vs creation, should have
EvoWiki bookmarked. (and, for comparison, our arch-nemesis site:
CreationWiki).
While I'm here, I'd like to remind you all that EvoWiki is a wiki, meaning that you can edit the pages if you feel like it. I'd strongly encourage that you do so, especially if you are an expert in a particular field, as your knowledge is not often easily available online or in a form accessible to the general public. You don't have to make excellent contributions - anything is better than a blank article - just something relevant to the Evolution vs Creationism debate that can educate others. Why, most of my edits consist of grammatical corrections and facts that can be learnt from a basic physics, biology or anatomy text, but someone has to do it.
As an example of EvoWiki at it's finest (see also:
The Best of EvoWiki), we had a user (called JGK) who was a paleo-ornithologist, and he authored many essays which he kindly added to our site (as well as creating the links to all the avian anatomy pages, and information on cladistics and parsimony). These are good examples of what good things a wiki allows if in the hands of the right people.

So, we are know a fully-fledged (pun intended) Avian-EvoWiki, but are sorely lacking in other areas. I'd like to expand upon the areas mentioned in my sig, and point to the pages that need work. I've seen a lot of bright people around this forum, and I'm actually very surprised not to see some familiar names contributing to the EvoWiki. Any reason in particular, may I ask?
