Scott, thanks for letting me know about the other thread. It appears he has replaced the contents of all his messages on that thread with a board hack.

Potential hackers should be aware that, even if one is hacking an open forum with widely-distributed UBB hacks, making unauthorised changes to the content stored on a computer is illegal in most countries and states.

In the USA it is a federal crime punishable with up to five years in prison with a fine of $250,000 for the first offense.
​
Karl should count himself lucky that Percy is a tolerant moderator.

What very strange behaviour!!

The closest example of such vandalism which I have previously experienced was where a poster on another board started systematically deleting all of her posts (thus rendering much of the discussion incomprehensible) before departing that particular board. Unsurprisingly that vandal was another creationist.
​
I think the suggestion of Percy alerting Karls ISP of this behaviour is warranted, it might preclude a future board becoming the victim of such vandalism.
