So are these for real or just a joke?
Dead Zone
Paranormal State
Charmed
The 4400
Medium
Supernatural
Ghost Hunters
One Step Beyond
Lost
Invasion
Ghost Whisperer
Nightstalker
Threshold
Most Haunted
Ghost Encounters
Masters of Horror
Life Among the Dead
John Edwards
Saving Grace
Heroes
The list just goes on and on.
Are there really folk that believe some of that stuff or are they all mean as comedies?

Immigration has been a problem Since 1607!

I don't get what you mean. Some of those are just fictional tv shows. Just because you don't believe in the reality of something a fictional show takes for real (for purposes of story telling), doesn't mean it has to seem laughable (a comedy).
And isn't the Master's of Horror thing the series for famous horror movie directors? That's horror, which does not necessarily mean supernatural or science fiction.
I'm not trying to knock you, just saying I'm not sure what you were trying to say with the OP.

Huh? 13 of these are dramas, fictional television series. And of those 13, 4 of them are cancelled.

Comedies?
Well, I have not seen most of them, but those I did see parts of seemed to be mostly comedies, programs like Charmed, The 4400, Saving Grace, Heroes.
Maybe they aren't all comedies.

Well, down here almost everything seems to be reruns, so can't comment on that.

Re: Comedies?

Well I think it'd be hard to find any "drama" out there that doesn't have comedic elements, some (Heroes/Supernatural) more than others (The 4400) but all the fictional shows you listed are intended as dramas first.

Get used to it, it does not look like the writer's strike will be ending before the summer.

Nightstalker?
Don't know if this is a new or old one. I must have missed the originals anyway.

Watch this clip on youtube. Is this for real?

Owing to the deficiency of the English language, I have occasionally used the academic jargon generator to produce phrases that even I don't fully understand. The jargons are not meant to offend anyone or to insult anyone's intelligence!

Looks real enough to me.
You have to feel sorry for those kids. The look on the little ones face is especially disturbing. It looked like it was dawning on her that her Mum is a complete loon. She looked scared and I can't say I blame her.
Of course the whole thing is typical of reality TV. These shows deliberately set people up against each other, hoping to bring out the worst in everybody, then sit back and watch the sparks fly! Pretty sick really and not my idea of entertainment.
