This video shows what an average PSD (Protective Service Detail) convoy does on a mission through Baghdad. No, I am not either of the guys in the SUV with the camera. Don't ask me any details about whom is being taken where. I won't tell you.
I am posting this not for debate, but to share my experiences with the fine members of EvC. You probably won't see this video anywhere else either.

Long download and long video. I like raw feed info though so it was interesting to me.
Thanks for the insight. Stay safe.
Possible question (don't answer if it is security no no), it seemed there was a mix of military and plainclothes people in the detail. Does that mean there are contractors and military working together on these things? I guess that would kind of surprise me as I figured military would want a tight reign on it.

Baghdad is no sunday stroll!
Saw the video. I know that all of you need prayer. It is not easy making snap judgement decisions and not knowing whether the approaching person is friend or foe. For you, a Christian, it is important to pray and ask God to cover you. I hope that your C.O. is also a Christian! See the thread on what it means to be a true Christian BTW. Keep safe, Tal.

Those are Air Force OSI agents. They are equivalant to Army CID (Criminal Investigation Division) agents. Those 2 organizations generally never wear uniforms. The picture with the guys in my hello post is of us (US Army, we are wearing uniforms), some US Airforce in uniform, and everyone in civilians cloths are OSI agents.
