Hello Everyone,
I've been reading these boards pretty thoroughly for about a month or so, and I thought it high time to contribute something of my own. I noticed this article had been posted at Christianforums and I thought the EvC people would also get a kick out of it.
I didn't find the article to be terribly interesting--until I noticed this quote:
"Christians are a lot more bold under Bush's leadership, he speaks what a lot of us believe," said Mummert.
"We've been attacked by the intelligent, educated segment of the culture," he said.
Now that's pretty funny. I, for one, am glad to have grown up in a fairly blue state (NJ) where this wasn't an issue. Just what would a class plan for teaching ID or Six-Day Creationism entail? How would it be different from Sunday school? It's when I pose questions like this that canadian citizenship looks awfully enticing.
You can find the full text of the article here.

Covered already?

I think that your questions have been raised in this other thread starting at the msg above. If not perhaps you can elaborate here.
I do find your bolded quote very funny.
And:
Welcome to EvC. I'm glad you have decided to jump in to the melee.

Re: Covered already? - Topic withdrawn, closed
I took a look at that thread (hadn't seen that one before) and you're right, the subject is pretty well beaten to death.
But the article is amusing.
{Closing note by edit - I consider this PNT withdrawn by originator. Editing subtitle and closing topic. - Adminnemooseus 4/10/05}
