The odds against having a universe that is ordered are so big it’s hard to explain. As a number, it looks like this: 1:10^10^30 -One to 10 to the 10th to the 30th against having a universe just like ours by accident, without God creating it. (Thank Dr. Roger Penrose of Cambridge University for these stats.)

Maybe you could flesh this out a bit? What does this mean to you? What do you know about probabilities? Just who is Dr Penrose and where did you get the numbers, (website, book, page number??)

Cut and paste hits
from creationist websites will simply not cut it. For this to be promoted I suggest that you explain in your own words how such odds were determined.

Flesh out - put some meat on it... Give us more of YOUR imput. Explain in your own words how this probability was calculated. What does it actually mean? What variables were used in the calculation? Show that YOU know what it means. Don't just grab a claim that sounds good but you know nothing about, if you know something about this claim it should be easy to put that in your thread. Who is Dr Penrose? Where did he make this claim? What else did he say? Did you read his actual paper/report/claim? or did you read it on another website? Just edit the first post here and we can move it by itself to start a new thread.
