Can anyone give me some good sites relating to the Human Genome and how it relates to evolution? I tried looking on google, but I just found a lot of creationist sites.

This is a good Short Subjects (No new topics or messages) topic. I'll move it over there. There are no new topic restrictions over there, by the way. I know this is hard to keep track of, sorry.

Not actually on the Human Genome Project
but certainly related. This is a link to some recent info on the Rat Genome Project that also relates to humans and mice. It has some interesting points since it shows a lineage back to a common ancestor of rat, mouse and primate and some data on when the lineages parted.

Hope this helps.

human genome
In this one, there is evidences of human & champanzees phylogenetic relationships within the Primates lineage, from our days back to 5 millions years.
