Today, April 1st, the draft science standards for Ohio were filed.

The standards include no mention of either supernatural or purportedly scientific alternatives to evolution.
The standards are available for public review at

Having read the draft, its difficult to see what all the fuss is about: the standards seem entirely uncontroversial in their scientific content and leave plenty room for interested parents to explore the issue in the context of their faith if that seems necessary.
It will be interesting to see the detailed reaction of creationists to the standards - especially to see if they apply their own standards of logic and scientific criticism to the
entire draft or only to those sections dealing with evolution.
