You know what might be cool? Some sort of personal messaging system. I realize it may be a lot of work to implement such a thing, but maybe this is something that could go on the "maybe some day" list.
I, like many people, don't want to post my actual email address here. I'm too worried about getting a barrage of email from weirdos. Or worse, a web crawler picking up my address and then putting me on every spam list in the country.
But with a totally internal pm system, usable only be members, then weirdos can be booted off after a sufficient number of complaints.
Of course, it may be that no one really wants to contact anyone else here outside of the public forums, but this would be a nice way to do it. On several other boards I was able to engage in a couple of personal conversations with people that I thought was nice.
