The idea of an expanding universe is based the original idea of the doppler effect - which purports to show that galxies are receding away from us and the Big bang theory. This was then shown to be wrong and we moved on to the 'stretching' of space. This has also been shown to be wrong and we now have 'inflation' - an idea with no experimental verification whatsoever. It is time to go back to the beginning, to look at the experimental evidence once more, and ask 'did we make a mistake somewhere?'
The answer is 'yes we did'. It was when we assigned redshifts to 'velocities'.
Particularly when it was found that measured values of the Hubble constant were no more than the electron in disguise
Redshifts are no more than light interacting with electrons in the Intergalactic medium and losing energy. Tired Light.
The universe is not expanding at all. It's time to move on.
Lyndon.

I think this is already taken care of at Tired Light. Thanks for going through with this proposal, though.
