I saw the President and Laura Bush with Charlie Gibson this morning.From what I understood, he said he does not wish to take rights away from gay people, but only wants to amend the Constitution to say a "marriage" is between a man and a woman. It sounded like he didn't want to ban civil unions or legal unions.WTF??Then why do we need a Constitutional Amendment? It makes no sense.

He also supports full civil rights for black people, as long as they stay at the back of the bus and drink from separate water fountains.

Yeah, I think it's his way of backing off. He knows most of the country is against a Constitutional ban.
