By Request: Buz will say nice things about Islam and Atheism...

In the Suggestions area, I complained about certain a type of poster that creates a thread simply to badmouth other belief systems, and then refuses to reply to direct counterpoints. This appears to be using EvC as a platform for hate speech, rather than discourse.I consider Buz such a poster and he took exception with my assessment. He says that he doesn't hate Muslims at all... despite threads that appear to suggest the contrary.He also challenged me to open a thread in Free For All to address this. So here I am.As far as I can tell the most buz can say is that he loves Islam and Atheism... to death. At least that appears to be the case given his rosy comments about how they should be feared now for the threat they pose, and the cheerful assessment of their future if they choose not to convert before their deaths.But he can prove me wrong right in this thread. To do so he will...1) Say something positive about followers of Islam, especially how we should accept them within our communities as friends and not fear their presence.2) Say something positive about atheists, especially how theists need not fear their participation in government and society.3) Say something positive about homosexuals, especially how society does not need to fear them or need to create laws to restrict their behavior or their ability to marry (if that is what they want to do).[This message has been edited by holmes, 02-03-2004]

This is a lie/spin thread. I did not request any such thing. I said the hate creo thread of yours in the suggestions forum should be over here because of the venom you have spewed about me specifically and others over there. I simply stated that contrary to your claim I do not hate Muslims contrary to your lies over there. I have stated facts about the doctrines of their Hadiths, the Quran and the prophet which concern me as to what is the ultimate goal of this religion for our nation and the world. We have only seen the beginning of what is in store if this religion gets the foothold in America and other nations as it has in about 30 nations already. This is not to say I hate Muslims perse as you claim. I support relief organiztions which operate in Muslim nations as well as in other nations. So get over this idea I hate Muslims. Good by. I'm done with this falsely titled thread. Talk to yourself and anyone who cares to indulge, Holmes.

You can say you don't hate anyone, but when you attempt to spread fear through "facts", which are in fact bigoted opinions, then you are preaching ignorance and hatred.People have tried to address your "facts" directly, and you simply reply that you can say who is or is not a True Muslim, and who is or is not a True Xian. And the True Muslim is violent and the True Xian is not.Why you can't grasp that those of the Islamic faith who pick and choose from their teachings in order to spread fear and gain power, are the same as Xians who pick and choose from their teachings in order to spread fear and gain power, (and both are wrong) is beyond me.By the way you could still have said something nice about Atheists, or homosexuals.
