So here's a thought I had, and I'm looking for validation or contradiction.
Much of human DNA is "junk DNA". DNA that apparently doesn't code for anything.
Personally, I think that's like a mechanic who doesn't put all the parts back in the engine cuz "You don't need that part". But still...
Is it possible that we may be carrying around "switched off" traits. For example, the Neandertal Frankenstein hypothesis, we don't have any cranical evidence for Neandertal genes in modern populations. No dental evidence for it either. But, what if this is a result of genes coding for that being turned off?
Any thoughts?

This seems to be idle speculation and not a great start for a topic.
Also since most members won't have much to say I think it will be a non-starter.
I really can't give any suggestions for improving it but I'm not going to promote it; perhaps others will.
