I did my thesis in college on refrigerant mixtures in vapor compression cycles with emphasis towards low temperature differential applications like ground coupled heat pumps. I also worked with ground coupled heat pumps on side as an assistant and pay the bills. I have also got into radiant floor heating design in the last few years as a side hobby.

The analogy of a chemically dependent individual and an energy dependent nation are just too good not to ponder. A chemically dependent individual will resort to all sorts of irrational and unwise behavior to satisfy the dependence. Hmmmmm......
