The first cold front rolled through yesterday and overnight the temperature plunged to 68o F (that's 20o C for you Canadians). Had to wear long pants today and even thought about a long sleve shirt. Temperature only made it back up to 95o F ( 35o C ) during the day.
But the lemons and limes are getting ripe and the oranges starting to show color. Another couple months and they should be ripe too. Just in time for Christmas.

I thought Texas had 2 seasons,
1. Blue bonnet season
2. mountain cedar season.

My lack of bias when recruiting moderators
I just realized I recruited a Texan as an admin.
Well, If we can find a suitable Texan, we should be able to find a suitable creationist.
Of course, Jar probably isn't a "real Texan".
Better post this as being from the non-admin mode,
Moose

Jar is apparently in The Valley,(Rio Grande, that is) where it's much too warm for bluebonnets.
Out here in the Rolling Plains, we have four seasons: Summer (the long one), Fall (a day or two), Winter (it sometimes even freezes), and Dirt Blowing Around.

I'm sorry to get off topic, but I have to ask this question. Does your avatar have anything to do with Planets of the Apes the remake?
According to the movie, chimps are politicians, gorillas are soldiers, and orangetans are scientists/theologians.
Regardless, I think you made a very good choice for the avatar. That orangetan looks very wise for some reason.
