Are there any number crunchers out there who can find out how many Americans are employed by the likes of Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Mercedes, etc. in the United States?
It seems that the foreign automakers with North American plants aren't doing too shabby. Yes, their sales numbers are down, but not the likes of Detroit.
Once upon a time in the Motor City, the Big 3 decided to make cars that created profits. Somewhere along the line, they changed that philosophy to make money by creating cars. I just can't remember what denomination of U.S. currency Henry Ford is on.
