Here's some model answers for any GCSE students reading for the Irreducible Complexity worksheet:
1. What is the question that Professor Michael Behe is trying to answer?
How to make science fit his faith.
2. What is his answer to this question?
"I'll just make up some neo-creationist canard".
3. What scientific evidence does he provide for this controversial conclusion?
None.
4. What is meant by ”irreducible complexity’?
"I can't explain this". It relates to a biological system that cannot form via natural mechanisms except when it can form through natural mechanisms.
5. What is the bacterial flagellum? How does it work?
A current target of a god-of-the-gaps argument.
You find something that science cannot completely explain to your satisfaction, and place your omnipotent being of choice there.
6. Does Behe reject Darwin’s theory completely? What gives you this impression?
As good as. He seems to have lost his ability to form scientific arguments.
