In the US new medical practices will allow new doctors, called interns in the US, to work up to 28 hours straight in a single shift. Also they will be limited to an 80 hour work week but that is averaged over a four week period.

In your country, are there any standards for how long a doctor can work on a single shift or week?

Doctors here are limited to 48 hours a week, but this is also averaged. Over 6 months. So a 100 hour week is entirely typical. This may change once we leave Europe as those regulations are imposed by them. I expect it'll return to 56 hour weeks, or longer.
