I confess that I never knew much about it. Never read much about it.Vince Bugliosi was a creative and ingenious prosecutor who put together a marvelous theory and made a criminal case against Charles Manson.Manson said, to Rolling Stone, that the Helter Skelter theory did not even make screwed up sense. He said that he, at most, might have babbled a few things about violence & false flags once or more, but he never attempted to incite murders. He had no operation planned or prepared.I feel like we are living in Helter Skelter land, these days.Trump incited this...Tucker Carlson invited this...(Adam Schiff just said that Tucker Carlson has a theory that is an "invitation to violence")(To makes things more ironic, Carlson's theory is one that blames the government for violence that led to deaths, so the government could blame Trump - more Helter Skelter).All sides are totally into Helter Skelter accusations.So what do you know about the real Helter Skelter?Yes, this thread is about Charles Manson.

You shut this thread down, bu, in return, you have to start a Charles Manson thread.I never knew much about him(I suspected that there was just a bland murder story, for one thing. I also think that the swastika somehow turned me off, to some extent, though I like to think that I am a natural at tolerating just about anything - especially to learn about things. But I do recall conversations, from long ago, and I would indeed brush off the conversations that brought him up. I remember saying something to the effect that Manson is an out of date hippie "and I have a hard time wanting to listen to him with a swastika on his face")Now, in literally a day, I have discovered that the Charles Manson issue is fascinating. I do recall wondering how many of his local city (San Francisco seems to be his former crib) people knew of him, before the famous murder. It turns out he was a great musician artist. The Washington Post reported that there are entire song lyrics, in popular Beatles songs, that Manson wrote. I did not know he was an artist, at all. The media has incorrectly portrayed Manson as a bad artist, according to the Washington Post.The Helter Skelter false flag - the attempts to blame the Black Panthers - is an issue that Bugliosi presented as a certain attempt to start a race war. It seems that the race war motivation is NOW generally seen as a plot that only existed in Bugliosi's head.Manson and the hippies are something I have a poor understanding of. They were from before my time.
