What if politics took an idea from Baseball and traded players?

Joe Manchin & Kyrsten Sinema straight up for Lisa Murkowski and Liz Cheney?

Or, if Liz is too Republican, someone else? Be a shame to lose an LBTG ally like Sinema used to be, but Cheney's sister is gay and maybe . . . . .

Ideas?
I think Lisa could be persuaded to vote for Build Back Better.

It's the cat's fault
It is not a matter of trading players. The problems with team D are with the general manager and owner. They are incompetent.

There is plenty of talent in the farm league but the GM cannot seem to bring them to the attention of the owner and get them on the field.

The ownership, good gawd, is hopelessly distracted by cats and vaxx memes on the internet and couldn’t be bothered to field a competent team.

Team R has the advantage. Their GM need not fret for talent since narcissistic, racist, science morons naturally percolate up in the party by being fascist and loud. And their ownership? Solid, fanatical, afraid, motivated by lies and deceit, the finest base of support for a raising fascist state.

Re: It's the cat's fault
Who is the D GM and D Owner?

Certainly not milquetoast empty-head colossally-boring Schumer.
Liz Warren would really energize the party.

the R GM seems to be Mitch McConnell. The R owner, I dunno, Trump?

Voting Death to all Republicans!!
Vote BLUE all the way down. No Green, no Libertarian, All BLUE.

Go shopping for a MAGA hat, but insist that it be in blue.

When MAGAt pinheads' minds blow, do they make a small popping sound?

Re: It's the cat's fault
The GMs are the party leadership, not just the congressional ones who are the coaches.

The ownership is us. Both sides.

Bad extension of your analogy. I'll just leave now.

Fascists like Zongsmith ran Lincoln Chafee out of the Democratic party.
John McCain chaired a neo-fascist group, the International Republican Institute, for 25 years, until he resigned in 2018.

It provided support for the overthrow of governments in Haiti, Latin America (especially Honduras), Asia, and the Middle East.

The New York Times exposed Liz Cheney's, fascist organization, the Iran Syria Policy and Operations Group, in 2006. She operated it while she was the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State For Near Eastern Affairs. She supported the fascist IRI, with the help of the CIA, the right wing of the State Department, Treasury Department, and far right elements in the White House.

Governments in the Middle East were targeted, especially Iran and Syria.

Her Iran Syria Policy and Operations Group disbanded after the New York Time's expose.

McCains group helped install a fascist in Nicaragua, in 2009. Barak Obama had a famous split with his Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, with Hillary supporting the fascist coup, while Obama argued for the democratically elected left-leaning (deposed) President to be allowed to return, and again be President.

During the same 2009, Cheney started a fascist group Keep America Safe, with William Kristol and Deborah Burlingame. The group targeted lawyers defending detainees in Guantanamo against torture and unconstitutional abuses. Most Republicans strongly attacked the fascist groups targeting of "The al- Qaeda 7" lawyers.

Cheney, again, saw a fascist organization disbanded due to outrage from her fellow conservatives.

Lincoln Chafee, of Rhode Island, became a Democrat, from 2007 to 2019. He said Democracy, in Latin America, flourishes, when the fascist United States STAYS OUT!

He left the Democratic party, in 2019, just like he left behind the Republican party in 2007.

He felt the Democratic party could be a force against fascism, but he was wrong, and God do we all know it!

LETS KICK SOME FASCIST ASS IN 2022!

You all have a vote.

Use it!

Re: LMN trying to derail another thread
LNA can't derail a thread but does provide comic relief.

He's an old worn out one trick pony.

But the baseball trade idea really has some problems. Who wants to trade for the players that can't play?

Joe Manchin ran, in 2010, on a swift troop pullout from Afghanistan.
Joe Manchin supported Medicaid expansion.

Joe Manchin gets at least a B from organized labor.

Joe Manchin failed, when Democrats had a 55 to 45 Senate Majority (2013- Jan 2015), to get troops removed from Afghanistan.

(He runs in a super-conservative state too, where Democrats can't win any election, generally)

So, fuck you "Z"ongsmith.

(The fascist guy)

(Also, Sinema was one of the few Democrats, in 2018, that got 70% of the Hispanic vote - in a tough race, too. I bet Mark Kelly only gets 60% of the Hidpanic vote in 2022)

Re: LMN trying to derail another thread
Clean up the mess that is post-2009 Honduras.

You defend a fascist coup-supporting state department Secretary, then you support the military coup she helped make it happen.

Yes, it was a "coup", and yes the United States made it happen.

You want fascists in the party, and in place of non-fascists.

And my point is that I will take Manchin over Theodoric, "Z"ongsmith (the fascist xong), and Liz Cheney.

No suspension for telling a member to "fuck themselves"? Cool I guess I will alter my behavior to fit that.

You wish to reduce yourself to his level? But I don't think you can get your thought process to that degree of disjointedness.
