Brachinus Sick

For those of you used to daily posts from Brachinus who were wondering where he has gotten to...Dave apparently had walking pneumonia without knowing it. He developed a sepsis that resulted in a number of life threatening complications. He has been in the Critical Care Unit at our local hospital for nearly a week now and is still in critical condition. He is stable and there are some good signs but he is still really sick.I know he'd want you all to know that he has not given up the fight and we hope he will be back to challenging creationists sometime soon. However I think he's looking at a long hospital stay and perhaps a longer still period of rehabilitation before that can happen.Best wishes to all Dave's on-line colleagues and sparring partners,Evolutionprof (aka Mrs Brachinus)

Checking the history of things, I see that Brachinus was active at in February and March of 2002, but hadn't been heard from since then. Apparently he has been more active at other sites, in more recent times.Regardless of this, prayers and best wishes towards his recovery from his illness.Moose

I'm not quite sure what prompted this resurrection of the old thread, but it's nice to know people are interested.I'm very nicely recovered, although I'm taking a lot more pills and seeing a lot more doctors than I used to. I think after I got sick a lot of things just kind of got left hanging, and my participation here was one of them.I started coming back here recently because my main board (CARM) was getting kind of weird, and even though I'm not fond of this format (I prefer threaded viewing), I'm enjoying lurking around some of the discussions going on around here, and even posting in the one that Adminnetc. linked to.

Could I ask what Threaded viewing is?

so in your example, 3 is a response to 1, 4 is to 3, 5 and 6 are also responses to 1
and

That's correct dear.Threaded views have their place, personally I think our replies to and from notification does the same service.
