Dear all,
After months of arguing with the creationists on this board I have come to the conclusion that I am the one who is wrong. Peter Borger's compelling and data supported theory of GUToB, Zephan's definition of evidence, sonnikke's compelling pleas to believe, Syamansu's arguments of unlimited reproduction and finally most convincingily salty's Manifesto on semi-meiosis have finally swayed me.
I mean, how can I prove them wrong? And more importantly, I cannot prove science! What was I thinking all these years? All their statements are consistent and neatly fit together as living and undeniable proof of intelligent design, the flood, the ark, genetic bottlenecks all dating to 6000 years ago and have finally opened my eyes as to the atheistic quagmire evilutionists dwell in.
Why live a life of rigorous hypothesis testing, experiment, and skepticism when one can blissfully accept the joy they offer? I have tendered my resignation at the university this afternoon.
I ask you all to join my new church here to be known as the Semi-Intelligent-Evidence-of-Non-Random-Mutation-Unlimited- Reproduction-Meiosis-in-a-Morphogenetic-Field-of-Latter-Day-Saints-and-Lawyers. We will dedicate ourselves to overthrowing evil theories such as evolution, gravity, the moon landing, those horrible anti-flat earth groups, those who deny UFO abductions, and most importantly, we will battle anyone who claims Elvis is dead! Donations (in cash, unmarked bills, are welcome) to help spread the word...as this is the first day of existence of this organization which will soon overrun the planet much as organisms where every individual in the population produce two offspring (except humans since we are not animals or organisms though I have no evidence), it will hence be known as April 1 or April Fool's Day

No he has not! You don't have evidence that Elvis was in or has left the building because you don't know what evidence is and my friend Zephan won't tell you either..so there. And that proves that it is non-random!

As Elvis has both left and not left the building do you think that he might have my cat with him.

Only if it has to do with non-random mutations which justify the GUToB...and only if your cat is a member of a population where every individual reproduces with unlimited resources.

And while you're looking for your cat, could you please see if it has my car keys?

No, but good idea. They mutated three years ago through non-random quantum tunnelling caused by a creaton wave interaction with a supernatural morphogenetic field. And here all this time I thought they were simply failing to reproduce because of being stuck in the sexual reproduction paradigm.
Maybe there's a whole new species out there based on the multipurpose template provided by my keys.
I'll check under the lilys.

You're welcome. Now you don't have to believe in blind, pitiless indifference as fundamental to nature anymore, and you can believe in people as equal with certitude.
You can go out in Nature now, and see the population explosions, the extinctions, the dynamics of seasons, how organisms reproduce, how they interact with each other.
Previously that must have been clouded by being focused on different reproductive rates of variants, which unfortunately you have never ever personally seen in Nature.
regards,
Mohammad Nor Syamsu

S: You're welcome. Now you don't have to believe in blind, pitiless indifference as fundamental to nature anymore, and you can believe in people as equal with certitude.
M: Yes, now I can believe in the blind, pitiless, indifference of fundamentalists and can abuse those who disagree with me with equal certitude
S: You can go out in Nature now, and see the population explosions
M: If I want to do that with elephants I will be out in nature for a long time
S:, the extinctions
M: When is the last time you witnessed an extinction? I know one researcher who did but he was an evolutionist
S:, the dynamics of seasons,
M: You mean those who accept evolution cannot sense the change of season?
S: how organisms reproduce,
M: Cool, I did not realize pornographic films were in this deal I would have joined up years ago.
S: how they interact with each other.
M: So they don't interact with each other when having sex or sex is how they interact with each other?
Sreviously that must have been clouded by being focused on different reproductive rates of variants, which unfortunately you have never ever personally seen in Nature.
M: Besides the experimental evidence( think of the Lenski paper I cited that you DID NOT read) and direct observations that discredits this last sentence of yours, I have never personally seen an oxygen molecule so I guess I don't breathe either.
