It's people like you that keep my faith in humanity intact (;. I hope you're satisfied with where you are at, and may you have the smoothest of transitions. Hey, while you're at it, can you come teach my friends what practicting Christianity should really be about?
Wow. Thanks for this Glordag - I'm shocked....(what did I do so good???? *baffled* )
Mike for president? No really - I'm not Kerry posting as mike - I promise.

Hey baba girly, u did want to change my mind cos u r naughty!
But - my mind being changed is inevitable. Sylas predicted this change, *smart ass*,- and here it is. However, if it shows anything - it's that people can change their minds. I've always tried to be objective, and so - people haven't "wasted their time" on me like some might think. So - if u ever think your time has been wasted at EvC then remember me. -> the learner-baba of goodliness/-->[insert ego-stroking comments].... Where's Rei, Dan and Shraff and Crashfrog - they haven't comforted my ego yet..are they even against me and want me dead?

Changing minds

Not everyone, Mike, not by a long shot.
You have done something pretty difficult for anyone. That's why you're getting some attaboys. Now, of course, you are useless as a creo admin so the offer of the job should be withdrawn.
Look around for a replacement will you?

Hah! I'll just have to tempt them by agreeing with every evolution statement made. .....Either that or join up with Lam and hijack the forum.

Nope, that won't do it. You have to disagree with them all to be candidate. You've already blown it. You can't try to pretend otherwise now.

Hi Mike,
What can I say? You're an intelligent person and you're going through a process that many deep thinkers do. Believe it or not, I really admire you; I've known you far longer than you've known me, and I think you've shown a lot of courage, all things considered.
You've learned a lot and really grown during your time at EvC, and I realize that it hasn't always been easy for you. But I think that, for the most part, you genuinely try to understand other views (even if it takes a while sometimes ), so despite how you may be feeling right now, never allow yourself to feel guilty for a sincere curiosity about anything. As long as you're being honest with yourself, you have nothing to apologize for.
If it's any consolation to you, I understand what you're going through. You may be surprised just how many people here do. So hang in there. It can be a difficult journey, I know, but in the long run, you will be all the better for it.

Thanks Tony..tis a hard road - for a regular Einstein.
I'm grateful for these comments..I hope I live up to them...,but; Were you a lurker here? Is that how you've known me longer?

Well, it can be diffcuilt - especially when I am irrefutable and omniscient. The great omni-baba of EvC (ooooh gaawwwd they chant).

Oh how could I forget? I failed to mention your most noteworthy trait of all; your humility!

You already have.

I'm a stalker.
No, seriously, I've been a lurker on EvC for years. I only started posting in more recent days but I've been reading all you guys for a long time. Sorry for not making that clearer.
Actually, I thought you knew. I've mentioned it here and there on the forum and I guess I just assumed that you'd have read it already. Anyway, I couldn't say how long exactly, but I'd guess that I've been reading EvC now for perhaps two and a half years or so. As such, I felt like I already knew all the regulars here long before I ever joined.

You already have.
(I hope u like baba sized smilies)
A stalker? Lol.

MIKEY!
Wow, aren't you a smart one.
I'm glad you found a way to integrate your faith and science in your life and mind.
You are a rare breed; someone who can change.
Beautiful plumage.

Ah! So 'tis a hard road for a regular Einstein, but not for a super Einstein, like yourself. I would have picked up on that sooner, but I'm just a regular Einstein.

Heh, I noticed that. And yes, I do; it's cute. Of course, baba anythings are cute. Well, usually. I'm sure there are exceptions.
Mike writes:

Yes indeed...LOOK BEHIND YOU!! *blood-curdling scream*
Mike writes:

Yep, it was me. Well, that is to say, I have mentioned that I'm a long-time lurker, several times on the forum. I suppose somebody else may have said the same, but chances are you were reading mine.
Mike writes:
Ahem -no really - I knew (*yikes* - he almost found out that mike isn't omniscient)
Hmm...perhaps this is like the Einstein thing; are there different levels of omniscience, too? You may be ranked "super" on the "Einsteinity" scale, but perhaps you're only semi-omniscient, as opposed to omni-omniscient.

Thanks, it might have had something to do with your postings aswell - you had a part in it. I remember, the discussion about no absolute certainties in science, and how you always point out that science has no say on God - or the ToE has no effect on faith. Thanks very much for the comments Shraffybaba.
