Re: Neil deGrasse Tyson is hilarious
Humor aside, Tyson made a very strong argument on why intelligent design is dangerous for science in the following segment.

"Science is a philosophy of discovery, intelligent design is a philosophy of ignorance."

He spent about 8 minutes pointing out how intelligent design (not just the current modern movement) has affected the most brilliant minds in the history of science and has probably delayed progress by several centuries.

Re: Neil deGrasse Tyson is hilarious
His material is funny and pointed. I don't think his delivery is good at all.

Re: Neil deGrasse Tyson is hilarious
The last two videos are from the Beyond Belief: Science, Religion, Reason and Survival conference of 2006. There were many prominent participants. In addition to Tyson there were Dawkins, Shermer, Weinberg, Krauss, Harris, Davies, Porco and Ann Druyan (Sagan's widow), and others, too.
