Found this on a conservative website. Interestingly the comedians aren't necessarily conservatives. Seems to be a lot of disappointment in Obama brewing.
Anyway I figure it should be a contrast from the usual kind of humor here. =============================The liberals are asking us to give Obama time. We agree and think 25 to life would be appropriate. America needs Obama-care like Nancy Pelosi needs a Halloween mask. -Leno Q: Have you heard about McDonald's' new Obama Value Meal?A: Order anything you like and the guy behind you has to pay for it. -O'Brien Q: What does Barack Obama call lunch with a convicted felon?A: A fund raiser. -Leno Q: What's the difference between Obama's cabinet and a penitentiary?A: One is filled with tax evaders, blackmailers and threats to society. The other is for housing prisoners. -Letterman Q: If Nancy Pelosi and Obama were on a boat in the middle of the ocean and it started to sink, who would be saved?A: America ! -Fallon Q: What's the difference between Obama and his dog, Bo?A: Bo has papers. -Kimmel Q: What was the most positive result of the "Cash for clunkers" program?A: It took 95% of the Obama bumper stickers off the road. -Letterman

I'd like to see this site and where they got their material since they are seemingly alluding to Conan O'Brien, Jay Leno and David Letterman. I hardly see any of the 3 of them telling "jokes" as tasteless as these.
"Some people think God is an outsized, light-skinned male with a long white beard, sitting on a throne somewhere up there in the sky, busily tallying the fall of every sparrow. Othersfor example Baruch Spinoza and Albert Einsteinconsidered God to be essentially the sum total of the physical laws which describe the universe. I do not know of any compelling evidence for anthropomorphic patriarchs controlling human destiny from some hidden celestial vantage point, but it would be madness to deny the existence of physical laws."-Carl Sagan "Show me where Christ said "Love thy fellow man, except for the gay ones." Gay people, too, are made in my God's image. I would never worship a homophobic God." -Desmond Tutu

Actually I thought it seemed out of character too. They are leftists, so why are they saying this stuff. There's no clue at the site. No source is given. I like the jokes though of course. They're only "tasteless" to a leftie.

Some of them were probably good jokes in the appropriate context. I thought the last one was still a bit funny. The third one probably was appropriate in the context of the election campaign, where Obama had been accused of "palling around with terrorists."I'd like to see this site and where they got their material since they are seemingly alluding to Conan O'Brien, Jay Leno and David Letterman. I hardly see any of the 3 of them telling "jokes" as tasteless as these. Presented now, out of context, they mostly tell a story about the person who posted them.

Thes jokes were not told by who they were attributed to. This is a continuation of right wing lies.
You will notice Faith that none of the sites that list these, actually can say when or where they were told. If you can show true attribution I will rescind this. But i have searched heavy this morning. This is not true. How would you and the right react if the "lefties" had posted lies like this about GW? Outrage I would imagine. Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts

They're only "tasteless" to a leftie. I claim no particular political affiliation, thank you very much. Buzzwords are annoying. They show lack of character and/or in depth knowledge of a given subject. I don't care what you claim. YOu think like a leftie. Most lefties today don't know they are lefties.
Edited by Faith, : No reason given.

You are rather quick to judge, aren't you? Not only quick, you are extremely judgmental.

The post is still a lie. Attributing these to Leno and letterman and the like is an attempt to give them some sort of legitimacy. Which they do not have.
Not funny. If they were just told as jokes maybe a little funny, but a false attribution makes them not funny at all.

Actually, I agree. I found the same jokes on other sites on a quick lookthrough without any attribution. I like the site I got them from, I like the owner, I'll have to tell her they are falsely attributed. It happens. She'll apologize.

If they were just told as jokes maybe a little funny, but a false attribution makes them not funny at all. I don't think they are trying to fool people that those jokes are from Leno and Letterman. They are satirizing those comedians by putting Obama jokes in their mouths, the jokes being similar (in a right/left reversed way) to the type of jokes those people would make about G. W. Bush. The satire is in the attributions more than the actual jokes, and the target is more their view of liberal media bias than Obama himself. A rare example of conservative subtlety (I'm speaking relatively) has caught you by surprise, which is hardly your fault, because of that rarity.

Bullshit
If you read the emails it is obvious that they are not trying to be subtle. It is a crass example to give the jokes a legitimacy. It is typical, classic rightwing disinformation. Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts
