Like the Jedi, the homosexuals, although minority in number, want to impose their views on everybody else. Actually, what they'd like is to be left the hell alone. Telling them they can't get married is imposing views. Letting people do what the hell they want without nosing into it is not imposing any view. How do you Christians keep getting that mixed up? Did you think you had a constitutional right to butt into other people's business or something?

Are you sure you mean Christians? Pretty sure I do; they're the only ones who seem to think they have a constitutional right to nose up into other people's business. It'd be like if I went around proclaiming that I had this list of arbitrary sexual behaviors and I was going to be barging into people's homes and beating people up who weren't following them; and then, we people kicked my ass about it, I complained "Oh, I'm being oppressed! People are forcing their viewpoint on me!" I mean, what a load of bullshit.

Yet there are many Christians that agree it is simply a load of bullshit. In fact, there is even an Episcopalian Bishop that it homosexual. So it grates me a little when you use the generic term Christian when what you really mean is bigot.

I can only speak for one of them. But that one has been pretty vocal. But bigots come in all forms and stripe. The one thing they have in common is that they are bigots. And I've never claimed we out number the bigots, but there is a difference between being a bigot and not a bigot. Not all Christians are bigots.

Oops, I think I subconsciously applied what you said about how the majority of christians or christian organizations support evilution over creation to bigotry.

I have never known any homosexual to tell me I was going to go to hell if I didn't start to be gay, and I have never had a homosexual come to my door and try to convert me. I have never seen a bunch of homosexuals try to keep other groups from doing anything, actually.

I was in an abusive family situation and had terrible self esteem, so school was an escape from some of that, but the lack of self confidence made the cruel things people said to me at school very hard to deal with. I was pretty smart and made pretty good grades despite putting very little effort into school most of the time. I wonder sometimes how my life might have been different if I had had supportive parents who were involved in my life in ways other than the punative.

Actually, if you were a biblical scholar like Rrhain, you would know exactly what rrhain was arguing, that is that the Bible doesn't state anything specifically against homosexuality.
