World Cup!!!

I'm beginning to feel like a global nomad. With Scotland again not in the world cup I'm supporting any team that England plays and winding my English hubby up something chronic! My neighbourhood is sporting a veritable rainbow of flags, many of which I don't even recognise, there's a pizza shop selling pizzas which look like the T&T flag and our spirits were certainly lifted when no more goals were forthcoming after the first one.Can I point out that we're not anti-English as such, we just can't face another forty years of crowing. We never hear the end of 1966! Yeah, it was good, yeah, they did well, but for pity's sake can't they give it a rest?

The team is England, they're from England. Scotland aren't there, Wales aren't there, they didn't qualify. Just England. Not Britain....ENGLAND!!!!!I think I've eaten too many sour grapes LOL
