well it unofficially looks like EvC clearly has more who are not declared Theists. But what does this prove? People are people.
I like debating and discussing spiritual issues with actual thinking people rather than with a bunch of robotic scripture quoters over at TheologyWeb. (Not, you, Nemesis! Your scriptures are very nice! )

I thought atheists were supposed to say 'chemical chance'.

I wrote that one problem with atheism is having nothing to say during an orgasm.
As it happens, this is even more of a problem for Intelligent Design theorists.

Another problem with atheists is they don't have anything to say during an orgasm. Orgasm? What`s an orgasm?

Taoist.
Which--true to my avatar--presents a problem of categories. I can accurately be listed under Agnostic, Atheist, and Theist simultaneously. But that seems to confuse things more than it helps. A separate category may be best--Taoist, perhaps, or No Comment. Or just omit my feathery hide altogether. I'm easy. Archer

You'd have to explain how, because although it's obvious to me how one can be an agnostic and an atheist at the same time, or an agnostic and a theist (one can at the same time believe something without knowing it for certain, or not believe something without being certain it is not so), I fail to see how one can be an atheist and a theist all at once. Did you know that most of the time your computer is doing nothing? What if you could make it do something really useful? Like helping scientists understand diseases? Your computer could even be instrumental in finding a cure for HIV/AIDS. Wouldn't that be something? If you agree, then join World Community Grid now and download a simple, free tool that lets you and your computer do your share in helping humanity. After all, you are part of it, so why not take part in it?

As it happens, this is even more of a problem for Intelligent Design theorists That is because they are to busy beating on their flagellum to participate. As for us atheists our partners say enough for the both of us that we can remain silent.

Look at Theist, Atheist, and Agnostic and tell me which one stands out in your mind as the most prominent, the one that best encapsualtes Taoism. And if that doesn't do it for you, we can either leave you unnamed or give eastern philosophy its own category. Let me know what you decide.

I guess you'd either lump me with the theists for being a pantheist or you'd lump me with the atheists for not believing in either personal gods or even the supernatural. Sorry...
