When Howard Stern was regularly on the air (or, at least, when I used to listen to him...) his show was one of the most popular in the country.
Half the people agreed with what he had to say... and listened to hear what he would say next.
The other half hated everything he stood for... and listened to hear what he would say next.
Now, I have no statistics on the following of this strange fellow so I can't really say one way or the other.
But just because his show gets a lot of viewers doesn't mean that the majority of those viewers agree with him.
