Where is the "leftist" media in the US?

The problem is not that the news is left or right leaning. The problem is timidity. It is the job - the responsibility - of the press to question the actions of the government, and to question statements made by government officials. They have failed at that task, and failed miserably.

Oddly enough, he lied to me. This was when I was listening to him give one of his speeches. It was before the invasion of Iraq. And it was damned clear that (a) Bush was stating falsehoods, (b) Bush has already determined to invade Iraq and was phonying up evidence to justify it. Many of you are demonstrably incapable of discerning truth, as is demonstrated by your posts on the flood. That Bush lied about WMD and related matters is demonstrated fact. Rightist nonsense. My vision is crystal clear when I see a politician deliberately lying to the public in order to justify horrendously bad public policy.

Perhaps that is your way of saying that you are afraid to read Moyers.For myself, I have never been afraid to read those on the political extremes. It is often hilarious to see the mistakes. And occasionally there is actually something thoughtful written by a conservative.
