But look at the bright side. Even if there is an alien invasion, Canada is safe simply because the US is right next door. Canada is like America's little brother. Hehehe

Revenge soon!

Re: And what we want one of those for?
Ok, let us summarize the big happy family.
Canada - Uncle Sam's little liberal brother who is more tolerant than his older brother.
Liberia - Uncle Sam's abandoned son
England - Uncle Sam's dad who didn't want his son to move out on his own
France - Uncle Sam's mom who wanted to help Sam to move out just so she could revenge on the settlement when she was divorcing England
Israel - Uncle Sam's spoiled son
Puerto Rico - Uncle Sam's adopted son
Cuba - Uncle Sam's adopted rebellious son
Can anyone help me think of who Uncle Sam's wife could be?

Hate world.
Revenge soon!

Re: And what we want one of those for?
Texas was often likened to a hopeful "bride" of Uncle Sam during the period after it won independence from Mexico. Were Uncle Sam to cheat on Texas (not an unpleasant thought), why not with a blushing Saudi Arabia? The financial arrangements might already be in place.

Oh yeah! Saudi Arabia is perfect. She'd be an obedient wife anyway.

I don't know who America's wife would be, but I know for sure that Iraq would be Uncle Sam's bitch. As for his wife, dime to a dollar its an abusive relationship.

Nah, I see Iraq as Uncle Sam's rape victim.
Before the rape.
Uncle Sam: Iraq is a bad girl. Someone needs to teach her a lesson for her own good!
After the rape.
Uncle Sam: She deserved to be raped.

You guys rule
Seriously. I haven't posted much for awhile, but it's stuff like this that keeps me at least checking the coffee house.

God is far more powerful than what most have in mind. Imagine God as best you can. Now zoom out from that picture in your mind and imagine a God above the previous one, even more powerful than the first. Zoom out further and imagine an even greater God. Now do that endlessly. That, my friend, is but a glimmering sliver of God.

Wouldn't his wife be the American Public?
When she has money, he takes it for get rich quick schemes. When she needs money he holds out saying he's broke, blaming it on her frivolous spending. Yet he screws her every chance he gets.

Re: And what we want one of those for?
most likely not, as the nessesary eqipment to enrich urainium is hard to come by.
Besides, what's your reasoning that we would invade you? We haven't invaded the idiots in france, so why start with you. Besides, Canada, unlike Saddam, could handle having nukes without using them.
There is really no point in trying anyway, since we are allied and have some defence agreements to defend you.

US Invasion
I realized the potential risk that the US represents during the 1973 oil crisis. There was an interview with a senator (Florida I think) and he talked about the "North American" oil reserves.
It was clear during the interview that it was a case of what is yours is yours and what is ours is yours too. Now I think that electrical supplies and water could well get included in that.
If we decided that what is our is ours I could see some sabers getting rattled.
And we can easily produce weapons grade uranium if we thought it was a good idea.

Are you referring to the "idiots" in France who were 100% correct that we invaded Iraq under false pretenses, that Bush et. al. didn't have evidence of WMD?
Those idiots?
